Johnson tasked with driving new business and revenues for ROK Entertainment Group.

London, Friday 13th November 2009: ROK Entertainment Group, the mobile technologies, services and applications developer, has today announced that mobile industry veteran, Bob Johnson, has joined the company.

Johnson began his mobile career with Motorola in 1992 where he conceived and developed a radical new distribution strategy, bringing Hugh Symons into the mobile retail arena, which resulted in Motorola becoming the premier handset vendor in the UK within 18 months. 
 
Subsequently, Johnson joined Orange where he lead their retail distribution program. In 1996 he was tasked to deliver Orange Retail, which he grew from scratch to a £211 million annual turn-over in 5 years.
 
Thereafter responsible for all of Orange’s ‘Channels to Market’ operations, Johnson successfully delivered Orange Retail into 17 countries.
